On dynamics of changes of the engine Raba-Man D 2156 HM6U lubricant oil characteristics

In the paper the results of research of operational oils Mobil 15W/40 and Powerway 15W/40 used in the bus engine Raba-Man D 2156 HM6U received by a complex method of infra-red spectroscopy and ferrography have been considered. On the basis of these results optimum terms of change of lubricant oils Mobil and Powerway recommended for engines of the given type have been established, and dynamics of oil ageing has been established.

Kinetic characteristics of chemical deacetylation of chitin and chitosan

The comparison of chemical hydrolysis of chitin and chitosan in acid and alkaline media has been carried out. It has been shown that the presence of the crystal structure in the investigated samples is not a reason of deceleration of the deacetylation process. Two parallel reactions can take place - deacetylation and buildup of slow-acting intermediate which has been destroyed during scour. The constants of velocities of reactions taking place at deacetylation have been calculated.

Influence of solvents character on kinetics of chitin and chitosan depolymerization

In the paper chitin and chitosan depolymerization in water, organic solvents and air in the presence of KI, NaI, NaCl, KOH and NaOH has been studied. It has been shown that alkali and salt do not influence on the kinetics of glycoside bonds' decomposition up to 15 days. The presence of chitin oxidative destruction has been proved as well.

Kinetics of alkaline hydrolysis of N-acetylglucosamine and D-glucosamine

The paper contains the results of tests of treating radioactive effluents of the civil atomic fleet by different materials in static states. The influence of solutions' composition on efficiency of radioactive nuclides' extraction has been studied. The influence of potassium and sodium content in the sorbent at ?R2Рћ = 5 % has also been investigated for the hardening mineral dispersion.

The electrochemical method of enzymatic protein hydrolysates' production out of hydrobionts used for microbiological nutrient media

The paper considers the kinetics of alkaline hydrolysis of N-acetylglucosamine and D-glucosamine depending on temperature and reagents' concentration. The mathematical model of hydrolysis has been proposed, velocity constants and the energy of reaction activation have been calculated.

Improving the technology of glucosamine production from crabmeat chitin

The influence of preliminary acetylated chitin on output of D(+)-Glucosamine hydrochloride has been shown. Mechanism of chitin degradation and the mathematical model adequately describing this process have been proposed. The technology of glucosamine hydrochloride production from preliminary acetylated crab chitin has been improved.

Application of ultrafiltration process for purification of chondroitin sulfate extracted from marine hydrobionts

The technology of purification of the chondroitin sulfate from low molecular weight protein contaminants using ultrafiltration process has been worked out. Using polyelectrolyte swelling effect in a solution of chondroitin sulfate, and the separation of contaminants on the membranes makes it possible to obtain demineralized polysaccharide with a given range of molecular weight and a high degree of purification from protein and amino acids impurities.

Optical activity and spectrophotometric characteristics of chitosan solutions obtained from the Kamchatka crab and the Arctic shrimp

The size of specific optical rotation of chitosan solutions has been shown to depend on nucleophilicity of hydrolyzing agent, it grows in absolute value with increase of quantities of trailer glycosidic centers in chitosan solution; the chitosan deacetylation degree practically does not influence on the size of specific optical rotation. For chitosan from chitin of the Kamchatka crab and the Arctic shrimp identical laws of influence of molecular weight and deacetylation degree on the size of specific optical rotation have been obtained. Influence of phosphoric acid on conformational transformations trailer glycosidic centres of chitosan molecules has been defined.
